Rarely do companies solve anything democratically. The person with the most power decides. Early on, when tech trumped all and little $ was at stake, Cam had the edge. When Donna got cozy with investors and Boz wanted $ to retire on and Gordon's $ was used, suddenly Donna and her business/profit focus trumped all.

Maybe so. But she came up with Mutiny and was the smartest coder there. It was HER company to lose. Donna was just there to sign the checks, and Donna got tired of that.

To be fair, it only survived beyond games because Donna guilted her dying husband into spending his fortune on it (to save their marriage). If that wasn't an option, Cam's gaming focus would have probably ended the company, but she and Tom would have probably broke even from selling the game they made. The chat

I think it was more power than greed. If the IPO was a success, that would prove to everyone else, and most importantly herself…..that Donna was the key factor in Mutiny's success all along….NOT that immature womanchild Cameron. Turns out Cameron was the heart and soul all along.

And everyone has had a co-worker/midlevel boss who acted like that….and yes, everyone ends up hating/resenting them.

Donna was always Joe, even before Joe showed up. I think when she had kids and plateaued at Texas Instruments, she resented Gordon and purposely drug him down to her level. She even wanted to have an affair in S1, when their marriage wasn't even that bad. She just was an upper class snob, with snobby parents…who

Even Gordon doesn't like Donna. It became clear after he discovered she thought the little stuff…like camping…totally was stupid to her, years ago, and she hated it.

You don't get it… It was CAMERON'S company. Regardless of what Donna may have done to pay bills on time, sign leases and make sure paychecks went out, without Cameron she would have had NOTHING to do to begin with. Period. Cameron may have had a short fuse, but she rarely made the wrong technical choices for the

Donna is awful. Worst character on show, in terms of true Intent.

I think his suicide also was indicative of several suicides over the years by tech geniuses who had something wrong upstairs (guy behind Debian, guy behind RSS, etc.). I think due to their impersonal nature, computers attract broken individuals.

Good. Donna was always an awful person and was never in the league of Joe, Cameron or Gordon. The IPO tanking was so satisfying to viewers who thought the idea if Mutiny anything being more than a blip on the radar was absurd.

That was luck. Even Gordon admitted the Pro was soulless. Most companies want to IPO because the founders can cash out. Going big often means you're out of ideas.

People watched and loved HACF because it was about boardroom and internal company struggles about the mistly male dominated tech world if the 80s. No one signed up to see Donna the super mom run a tech startup.

She'll go, but Mutiny will die, because she's the brain. Like Cardiff when Joe left.

Gordon cares about Cameron now, and respects get. He also saw how Joe was kicked out if his own company by dirty board room decisions, and wanted Cam to avoid the same fate.

Almost positive this is the end.

Nope. I bet he'll hire Cam. And I suspect Gordon and Donna will split when Gordon learns about Donna's abortion so that she could keep working.

Her family are upper class snobs, and always looked down on Gordon….no surprise that Donna is elitist as well.

Actually, I think Cam will go to work for Gordon and Ryan will go back to Mutiny, w/ the Swap meet people rehired, as they IPO.

Actually, I predict the Cam/Tom thing will fall apart quickly. Lots of signs showing shaky foundation. I'm with you on Cam working for Gordon…but I think she'll reconcile with Joe before she even finds out he's the silent partner. See my mother post for prediction on how this likely final season will end. It basically
