Slender Man’s kinkier brother. Yes.
Yet, the amount of people I see on the road holding a phone up to their head in a car that clearly has bluetooth capability is staggering.
“The thing is, there were no shortages in Florida.”
I am a “pay cash for everything” guy, but I don’t try to change the minds of folks who finance cars.
To build on your response
Ford sells over a million trucks per year. It is blatantly obvious that they’re building trucks people want to buy. What you want will never happen for the price you demand with today’s safety regulations. Ever.
If if you really want a comparison that speaks volumes, look at a brand new truck next to one from even as recently as 15 years ago.
I was just stunned to see a heavy duty diesel truck for under $35K. Now that’s about $54K in 2020 dollars so it still seems a bargain in the world of $80K HD trucks.

You wouldn’t have people learning to screw around with their phone while driving, because not only is that borderline impossible on a bike, but you’ll remember the person who almost takes you out on a bike, and you won’t…
The wheelchair in the bed has me wondering if the Toyota is modified for accessibility. It wouldn’t excuse anything, but it adds potential answers to “what went wrong?”
I can also see the following series of events:
Driver is waiting for an opening.
Driver sees an opening that’s big enough
Driver slams on the gas
Truck lurches towards the oncoming traffic
Sensor kicks in and stops the truck in the path of oncoming car
Accident happens where it actually wouldn’t have
But that is our country’s MO, lets make more laws instead of enforcing the ones we have. IE: The entire gun control debate.
That is also a video game.
It makes sense when you consider that staging the work stoppage now might be less dangerous vs. staging it when more people are carrying the virus.
Personally, I work in a cubicle-filled office at a company with a large number of employees. I am not allowed, nor can I afford, to not to come to work. My work, as can…
