Correction, Useless Majors are Bullshit. as a CPA, I had to major in accounting to get the requisite credit hours. Don’t paint a picture that all college majors are bullshit. I would say that there are really only about 4-5 useful majors and the rest are just a waste of time.

really, if she keeps a mileage log, she doesnt need to have the addresses on there. better would be odometer readings. i.e., odometer at beginning of day, and at end of day. but, just an estimate of miles is all I ever get when preparing returns.

I will say that the biggest thing you need to keep is a mileage log. As a CPA, i have had clients get audited by the IRS due to high auto expenses taken on their returns. We (luckily) had a mileage log and the IRS accepted it. really, a simple Outlook calendar showing appointments with address on it is fine.
