That's a very good summary, and exactly what this article is about.

Anyone else think of Dexter when they saw that image?

Here's what I think: Tip jars are NOT the invention of an employee. The tip jar was invented by management, so that employees will justify an excessively low salary. And in a way, it allows a company to advertise lower prices, but ask for more money at the register to those who are willing.

Why do we tip pizza deliverers? There aren't any variables (except time, which they cannot control whatsoever).

I would like to know where people draw the line with "tip jars".

I love this idea! I would definitely love Swype more if it had a button for my email address ... I hate typing that thing out!

"Google Play" sounds completely unrelated to "Android Market", so until I read this comment, I had no idea either!

@Whitson I think you might have missed an important point, causing the other commenters to complain.

Here's the thing: from a programmer's point of view, reporting progress is tedious! There's always a goal to separate out "business logic" from "presentation logic". So, your long-running-task code is separate from the progress-bar code, and it's hard to tie them together.

I've done so much work over the years, it's been hard to document all the cool things. But as I'm writing about it on my blog, I'll be sure to self-comment the code too.

I have probably the largest collection of scripts you'll ever see! I put them on GitHub so you can do just that: [github.com]

I'm a bit of a ninja myself, but I haven't figured out how to "gain control" over my FN key. I'm almost certain it's done at a "lower level" (either hardware or driver) than AHK can access.

I know that AutoHotKey does not have an easy way to do this. I have wondered as well, because I have a remote control for my media center that I would love to remap without breaking the keyboard.

GO Contacts does that ... as you start dialing a number, it shows all contacts that contain the partial number, AND it shows T9 matches as well. It's a pretty great feature.

You're correct, "Save as file type" will just add the correct extension if you don't.

It's the Blueberry Pancake that really makes the taco.

They grease up the floor real good.

Anyone have a solution? Maybe a Add-On, or a keyboard shortcut, or some AutoHotKey magic? If you say HTML5 I will murder you.

Is there anything compatible with a Wind Waker?

This might sound strange, but I think that individual apps have the ability to specify if the keyboard should show the "Enter" key or the "Smiley" key. I have one app (GO SMS Pro) that actually has a setting for this, and it works with all 3 keyboards I have (Android, SwiftKey, Swype). For example, when searching,
