@dragonislander: Difference? About 11 years. In the computer world, that's also known as an eternity.

@JayDeEm: Have you seen ASP.NET MVC? It's similar to RoR & Django, but might leverage your existing skills. I had HTML knowledge and C# knowledge, but ANM finally blended the two.

@mjnbrn: Great language, easy to learn, and Visual Studio is incredible. Plus it's a marketable skill.

@aboldish: If you've got HTML and CSS under your belt, you should "complete" your knowledge by learning jQuery. The perfect trio.

@IrishFeangol: Visual Studio is great — intellisense is awesome.

@BK Phil: I'll try ReNamer out ... the reason I listed 3 others is because I don't like any of the interfaces.

Its weird that Apple would create an app store with so few features! I mean, my xbox marketplace has more features! Seems like Apple took a step backwards.

@ravana: That's a good idea too, depending on the quantity of misc photos you might have. It's like the "junk drawer" for photos! Helps all the other albums stay clean and organized.

@BK Phil: Completely agreed! This is the BEST organizational system, because it is compatible with nearly EVERY program in existence.

@d00kiefl4kes: Yeah, at first I thought I was just being sensitive, but then a coworker's Mac monitor looks perfect in portrait mode, so it obviously depends on the monitor. I'd guess that monitors made with a swivel are probably the best choice. My monitor actually did have a swivel — but it was "disabled" by the

Some inexpensive monitors don't have a good viewing angle in this orientation, which can cause a LOT of eye strain in a day. I love the idea of extra vertical space, but the headache I got wasn't worth it.
