@JeffEd: I don't think it was. Some Chinese company. It was a while ago but there should be others on there

I love that picture at the top. Nice job Giz.
@ME-4 12: I meant this one (below). The Verizon one of course does not have a sim slot. So could this maybe be real and reflect a change for the AT&T version?
@Scott: Correction, announcements about Apple products. Yes I know it was a Verizon announcement.
@Steezy McFresh: I guess it'l depend on how much clearance the case has. Some will be fine. Hopefully case makers will just find a design that works for both versions and save consumers some trouble.
@Goblin: Just the lock slider i think. Engadget has a hands on. I guess cases that just have a on big opening for the buttons and slider will be fine.
@Tetsuooooooo: Don't be rude for no reason.
So stores will have to have to sell AT&T iPhone 4 cases AND Verizon iPhone 4 cases. Since the button are moved down a little on the VZW one.
@Phate: You know the drill. Apple announcements drown out everything else at Giz. LOL
So was that image of the new band legit? It had a SIM slot.
What do we think, hivemind: iPad 2 on Verizon? 3G or LTE?
@NyQuil012: It's not instant. When i switched from Verizon to AT&T it took a few days for my old phone to lose service.
So it has hotspot capabilities but you can't use voice and data at the same time on CDMA. So if you get a call, any Wifi devices disconnect, I'm assuming.
a while ago I found 6 foot cables on amazon for 1.50 a piece. I bought a dozen and have given them away to friends and family. They work perfectly.
I was amazed that this actually worked. Really neat.
@Erik Miler: I guess what I meant by 4G is LTE. VZ's new handsets that they showed at CES look nice.
My AT&T iPhone 3GS contract is up in June. My plan is, one way or another, I'm switching back to Verizon. If the iPhone 5 is really great then I'll go with it, if not I'll get whatever the Android hotness is that time. It will have to be a 4g device too, so Apple better deliver or I'm going Android.
@OHWHATDA: There definitely are some great Android devices out there. And yeah I think iPhone 5 better be a big jump in order to keep up. It better at least be 4G, have HDMI, and support wireless syncing.
OMG MusicMatch! I forgot about that piece of crap!
@Jorg Brown: Good point on the additional cost and loss of efficiency. I guess the best thing for the company would be if Tesla bought or licensed the tech from them and could install it as an OEM option.
