I also appreciated he made a larger point about how sex work is one aspect of work here that is treated especially unfairly, but also work in general in this country is also unstable and fraught with a whole host of other issues.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World is one of the greatest pop songs ever written.  It certainly has one of the best opening verses.  The first 2 albums are gospel for me.

the man is a national fucking treasure who helped move the conversation giant leaps forward on what you can get made in this country.

Supercop is amazing.

I was at a fairgrounds show for that tour.  Also caught him at open air theater over at the college.  My son adored it.  Although the fairgrounds show was around 3 hours of standing my legs were shot by the end of it.

Pirates! Band of Misfits is absolutely delightful as mentioned.   

Someone should just make Røde Orm/The Long Ships into a series.  But I’m not sure if they could capture the thing I find I love most about it every time I return to it.  The humor.

I miss Lane Smith.  That movie is charming as hell too.  Also, Joe Don Baker!
