Am I the only person who actually liked ME3? And I..cried at the ending..Had flashbacks of all the moments and characters that led me to that decision. Look, I get the hatred and all but it was very personal to me, I replayed the previosu 2 games in close proximity so it was all fresh to me, so I really felt it when

Goddammit just give me a proper trailer, enough of this behind the scenes nonsense.

If you have to think about doing it, the answer is simple: no.

P’Tok!

That sounds like Romulan talk...

*gagh

Weird that Reagan liked TNG, considering it’s basically a post-scarcity communist utopia. I guess he was distracted by all the phasers and Riker’s clean-shaven face to notice.

Actually, FWIW, I think Spec Ops: The Line is worth mentioning here.

Its the first game in a while that took a good hard look at gaming as a medium.

It took a critical perspective of a player’s role in a game and touched into themes like escapism, etc. I bring this up because it had almost never been done before, but

Learn the truth... they found evidence of controlled demolitions in the Death Star

I feel like people will like it for many of the same reasons people like Minecraft.

There’s a trading economy, mining, gear and ship upgrades, space battles, combat on foot, etc. It’s a real game. I don’t know why people think you only fly around and look at stuff. There have been a lot of videos showing how the economy works, and how you can make enemies or friends of different AI factions, or piss

A sense of exploration.

Explore, find new things, fight space battles, upgrade your suit, ship, and weapon. Become a trader if you want. Become a fighter if you want. Become an explorer if you want. Go through searching for all the coolest forms of life or planets, or try to blitz to the center of the universe. There's a lot to do.

Exploration is the point of the game, my man. Can’t wait.

At the Sony E3 presentation, Sean said the objective of the game is to reach the central of the universe. Although, to reach that, you need to collect stuff at the planets and/or trade to upgrade the ship enough to be able to get there. That sounds so freaking awesome to me.

The main goal provided is to get to the center of the galaxy.

I don’t think so. It’s a virtual galaxy that you can explore. Isn’t this what interactive virtual entertainment should be about? They’ve essentially removed the limitations that narrative gaming (which I don’t have a problem with) has set on the video game format.

It’s sheer space zen. Different strokes, man. You can play the entire game without ever landing on a planet, strictly being a pirate or a trader or what have you. A true spacey sandbox. Do whatever the balls you want, man. It’s like what Spore’s space stage should have been.
