What is the argument for why are NOT in a simulation again?

I have both Vive and Oculus (obsessed with VR) though note I’ve only tried the Touch controllers at demo, don’t have them yet and haven’t used them extensively. Nor have I tried Oculus’ room scale VR experience.

I love it when there is a dry spell of great games and then the industry—seemingly in unison—dumps news of potential hits.

In my honest opinion—excluding VR—2016 was a dud. The only non-VR game from 2016 I bought was Doom. Sort of asking for recommendations.
