I'm sorry if I cant remember where in the games it has been a long time, but I can tell you Doom3 and The Thing had a few nope moments, for sure.

I was very very impressed with Max Payne 3 (on multiple levels as a long time MPfan) but production quality was excellent. Rockstar after that and Red Dead are indeed one of the top game studios. Cream of the crop in my opinion. They make games that are worth every penny.
