It shouldn't be controversial for a woman to save her own life over a pregnancy, wanted or not, but in the national conversation, it is. See: every late term abortion ban, ever. When it's played out like it is in the clip above, though, it probably is not controversial except to the craziest of the crazies.

I'm not making excuses for the woman in the story. What she did was not okay and the authorities should have been called, full stop. But the other times, when children are accidentally left in a car because their parents were distracted? Those people do not deserve to be lumped in with people who beat their loved ones.

You are a fucking asshole.

Do you do the visual/verbal check when they're with another trusted adult? That's how these things usually happen. Kid usually goes to daycare with dad, but mom took him today and then slipped into autopilot and forgot he was in the car. So unless you visually inspect your car every single time you get out of it, this

I get that outrage makes nuance all but impossible, but there is a difference between consciously leaving your kid in a car for literally under five minutes and forgetting that they're in the car with you when you get to work. One is known to end in death, the other is not.

That is adorable! I should acquire one of these.

I don't wear gym clothes when I leave the gym most of the time. I shower and get dressed in my regular clothes when I'm done exercising (assuming I have not forgotten to bring them, again). I don't look half as cute as TSwift on her worst day, but it's not unusual to get dressed for real at the gym.

She's a four year old who stood up to a person in a position of authority over her. That's pretty good.

Asshole, fuckbag, piece of shit. These are my go-to things to yell while driving. Not loaded epithets that have nothing to do with why I'm angry. Like, I'm not mad that a Jewish person cut me off. I'm mad that some asshole who thinks s/he is more important than everyone else on the road cut me off. I'm not mad that a

Wait seriously? Where do I sign up for that?

Were you raised on camera, with people around you telling you you're hilarious and who edit away your bad behavior? There's a reason child stars have a tendency towards a train wreck phase.

Now and Then put this idea in my head, but I've never actually tried it.

Seriously. I work in a hospital for children, and our doctors routinely talk to the older ones without a parent. Honest answers about these questions are important, but a teenager doing something her parents don't like probably will not think if it like that.

hmm no. Those situations are not comparable to parenting. I don't have to be a parent to know what bad parenting looks like (or good parenting, for that matter) - I have parents and I have opinions on the way I was raised.

I've tried many, many sports bras, and while they do a good enough job at keeping them out of my way for various exercises, they just don't stand up to a pair of H cups running. It's cool, I hate running anyway.

At an H cup, I've pretty much accepted that running is out. Which is fine, since I hate running anyway.

Can I swim instead of running? Running hurts my boobs.

What are you talking about? Which breed of "pit bulls" was bred to attack people?

So could any big dog. WTF is your point?
