Calculating MTBI isn’t hard, just tedious. Determining the read/write rate over time should be easy as it was in the programming. Comparing that against the specs for the chip should be dead simple. Fail.

Coming from Volvo, I expect it to be a much more refined car than a Tesla, and a better choice to actually live with for several years.
“Captain. Captain. CAPTAIN!”
I had something for this.
Hot take: Uber riders should all be issued a bag of wieners. (I can’t say ‘Richards’ else I go gray...)
I could not agree more. It’s a fucking taxi service, it should be regulated like every other taxi service, for better or worse.
If they are driving around looking for fares then they are not ride sharing and should be treated like any other taxi service.
“The rule would threaten the viability of the ride-sharing model as it currently exists,...”
When I am hiring independent contractors, one thing stands out: Independent contractors can set their own price, and they aren’t required to bid on every job we open.
Mine has activated once and it was appropriate, car suddenly switched lanes without signaling on the highway and did so right in front of me and it activated before I got my foot from the gas to the brake. Mine is set to the least aggressive setting and hasn’t had any false alarms thankfully.
I’m wondering how many people know that you can turn down the sensitivity of the sensors, and completely turn them off in a lot of vehicles.
I guarantee you there’s far fewer deaths in our “concentration camps” than would have other wised perished under the care of their “parents”.
Sure! @JasonWardNY @RosemaryMosco @KennKaufman @TheBirdist @Mollycule_ @pablo_dulce @theineptbirder @ABA @macaulaylibrary @audubonsociety are probably a good place to start. They’re some of the more public bird tweeters/accounts and you’ll start to find other folks through the people who respond and retweet them.
They did work together to simplify the regulations. California and the 12 states that follow California, along with 13 automakers, were in on the Obama agreement to increase fuel efficiency and emissions standards. That was working together to simplify the regulations.
As a former owner of several cars with leather interiors, all convertibles, I can’t emphasize strongly enough the need to clean and treat the leather regularly. My Saab, Miata and Mustangs seats all looked excellent when they moved on to their new homes, and Saab has been know to have similar seat issues to Volvo.
Yea It’s pretty hard to find any volvo from the last 20 years with any rust on them. They definitely used the right metals for it.
But you only have to adjust it 1 time so all these arguments you just made are null and void. You claim you felt unsafe and it wasn’t laziness, but refuse to take 10mins out of your day to learn the settings? Are the people buying this car also only using it for 2 weeks or will they probably setup a driver profile to…
Here’s my counter argument. V60 T6 R Design Polestar optimization. No Pilot assist which is part of a 5K package, no autobrake. Much more power and performance with none of the nannies. Plus it comes in about 7K cheaper than the one you drove. Your annoyances sound significant which is why I opted to leave them off…
It’s not “taking a tech ed class”. It’s a simple feature that is not difficult to adjust the sensitivity of. Try Googling it yourself to see. Unless you’re really inept, I bet you’ll find it at or near the top of the results and you’ll find it easy to understand. Car safety systems are becoming more sophisticated and…
This is just nonsense. It's not as if a normal person doesn't have five minutes to learn how to change something and then make said change. I don't care how many kids you have. Childbirth doesn't turn you into a moron.
