Calculating MTBI isn’t hard, just tedious. Determining the read/write rate over time should be easy as it was in the programming. Comparing that against the specs for the chip should be dead simple. Fail.

I could not agree more. It’s a fucking taxi service, it should be regulated like every other taxi service, for better or worse.

If they are driving around looking for fares then they are not ride sharing and should be treated like any other taxi service.

When I am hiring independent contractors, one thing stands out: Independent contractors can set their own price, and they aren’t required to bid on every job we open.

Mine has activated once and it was appropriate, car suddenly switched lanes without signaling on the highway and did so right in front of me and it activated before I got my foot from the gas to the brake. Mine is set to the least aggressive setting and hasn’t had any false alarms thankfully.

I’m wondering how many people know that you can turn down the sensitivity of the sensors, and completely turn them off in a lot of vehicles.
