Just read that. Lifetime pass for me. She was the it girl when I was young and impressionable. Yowza.

hmm…ok. I suppose I can accept that.. I was not thinking letter count.
Not a critical point, but where is the extraneous "e"? Coverage has two e's so does covfefe.. maybe one is supposed to be silent? English is such a confusing language sometimes.
Thomas Dolby reference! Yay! Loved that album. So beautiful.
Nice to see the Prince love. When he passed, I knew already that we was a great guitarist, but the hall of fame "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" and his performance at the super bowl sold me as one of the greatest all time guitarists. But now you see all those live youtube clips that have come out since he died, and…
Ok.. I do enjoy the jokes and lines of these episodes, but am I the only one that is getting tired of the storyline that every guest star that comes in is a corrupt official? How many corrupt cop stories have we done so far? It seems like so many. And if an official of some capacity, also corrupt. Surely there must…
Yeah.. that just came to me..probably doing a bit of purgatory for that one…
Well, AV Club snark aside.. I love this film. I see it every good friday. One might even say religiously. The music is awesome, including the incredibly funky basslines, the vocals are fabulous.. Carl Anderson and Ted Neeley are amazing, but so are many of the other performers. The show just works for me. Always has.
ok.. side point, not related to anything.. but when I hear those words, I can't hear it in my head other than as sung in those old scholastic rock cartoons…
I love, love, love this movie. That is all.
I have always thought of Kenny G as the Thomas Kinkade of Jazz musicians. I'm actually surprised he gets as much respect as he seems to on here. I think Pat Metheny said it best:
I know a Mike in Canmore that owns a restaurant.. what are the odds?
Its funny.. there are a fair number of good writers here, and each of them I feel are coming into their own, but there's just something about an original O'Neal (tm).. the quality of writing is such that when you read one of his articles it forces you to stop and check the writer, because you want to know who is…
Thats funny.. something seemed familiar, but I didn't make the connection until now.. that being said, there was a speech that perhaps one of the germans made that reminded me fleetingly of one of the big speeches from boys from Brazil.. now I need to rewatch this to see if I can pick it out…
I did think about this and hesitated before pressing send.. perhaps I should have hesitated a little more… the last thing Canmore needs is to be Banffified..
Boy, I missed a lot of stuff when I stopped paying attention for a little while..
Actually, little known local secret.. spend time in Canmore.. its just 10 minutes down the highway and so much more quaint.. I mean, they're both lovely, but Canmore has a small town charm that is missing a little bit in Banff. and fabulous restaurants…
And Suburgatory!
Saw the American Sessions last September at the Calgary International Film Festival, where it won the audience favorite for best documentary. An amazing film, and amazing soundtrack. All of the music in the film were the direct recordings made by the ancient machines they used in the film . The sound was so pure,…
How bad is plaid harassment? is it worse than paisley harassment? Or, shudder, houndstooth harassment? just trying to understand this new street lingo….
