Hmm.. not watched any of those, so can't really comment..except that he was good in "Dear Frankie", which may have been his first film. I think I might have seen him in a remake of an old icelandic or nordic tale as well, which wasn't horrific… so its too bad his later works, other than 300, tanked.

The price isn't a concern. I collect spirits, and the good ones are worth the investment. My priciest irish whiskey used to be Midleton Very Rare, which I loved and nursed as long as I could. I will definitely give Tyrconnel a try..

Interesting trivia..According to a friend in the business, Bulleit does not make their own whiskey, they buy barrels of others.. so I'm told. And the Bulleit 10 year is actually four roses…(although not the small batch version). The More You Know.

I was told a real easy way to keep them straight.. if the country where the alcohol comes from has an e in it, then the whisky does as well.. so , IrEland = whiskey..UnitEd StatEs = Whiskey. Canada = whisky. Scotland = Whisky.
