Interesting..and you are right that white males, and perhaps white females, might not be as cognizant of their damaging prejudices… ask Hulk Hogan.. :)

I actually played the haunted house app in your honour yesterday. Like all of those apps, they've done a great job recreating the machines, but its always such a revelation to see a real one, and it makes so much more sense to figure out what is going on.. that being said, its a pretty crazy game especially when you

See, I agree that if Phil simply thought she was hot, that was all that was needed for the joke. Maybe thats what they should have done. In fact, I think they did that idea a few seasons back.. I remember a particularly attractive woman neighbour asking for help and Phil getting flustered and tongue tied.

Love it! Thanks for the link! Boy, he's just so happy…

Or, if you need to go for the crazy, this guy:

Nice! I have that one on my Pinball Arcade app on my phone.. it looks like it would have been a fun one to have…

Which machine did you get? Just curious.. yeah, the older games probably need more servicing, but some of the newer ones aren't bad, and they probably last longer due to age and technological innovation..

What a great link! I'm so happy to have read that, and to know the story I was told was in fact the case.. I bet that was a pretty stressed out Roger Sharpe, calling that shot ala Babe Ruth. A fascinating story..

From what I recall, the other interesting thing about the illegality of pinball was that when it was being challenged in court as a game of chance, the people arguing against its illegality were arguing that in fact, it was a game of skill. There was a pinball brought into the courtroom, and some pinball star (not

I know most of those, though not Deltron 3030, Kool Keith, UNKLE..Oh, and Maverick.. any of these worth checking out?

I found it! It was a little ways down the comment line, but perseverance pays off as always.. :) Yes, a good little tune.. glad to know I wasn't the only one catching it!

No idea of the backstory on that one.. thanks! And I think I have albums of all those artists.. they each had such great one hit wonder songs! And, Dream was just on the radio for a short time, but it stood out, and I ran and got the cd.. the rest of the album, as you say, was ok, but that one song was great..

There was a one hit wonder in the 90's called Dream, by Forest for the Trees, that I remember solely for the reason that it had some pretty awesome pipes in it, which is obviously fairly unusual for a pop act. Cool tune, but never heard from them again…

They go full on raunch for the outtakes.. "Dick Infested Man Mattress" still kills me when I hear them say that..

Another favourite.. but really, there were so many good ones.. the one with the translator machine was fabulous as well…and the employee's funeral..

arse!

When I see a title like this, I immediately think of the great Better Off Ted episode, The Impertinence of Communicationizing, and the outtakes from that episode. For those that missed it, a typo on an office directive told the employees that they must NOW (instead of not) use offensive or insulting language in the

I loved Freur and Doot Doot back in the day.. so happy to hear it get some love here..also, gary human and tube way army.. all those albums had some great deep cuts.. as to Yello, I thought the vocal lick ("oh yeah") was fine enough, but the song really does overstay its welcome on a full listen..

yeah, there seems to have been some bad stuff lately.. which is too bad. Although I suppose it makes the movie more interesting..

Hey, Mikosqz, thanks for that! I had no idea.. I just checked the google and found that out.. is it any good? I also discovered that, I mean, I know he was talented, but wow.. Matti was a superstar. I'm glad to have seen him jump..although it sounds like his personal life makes up most of the biopic..
