yeah, that struck me as odd too.. I think its "wail".. but hey, I'm not being paid the big bucks to proofread these high falutin' writer types..

I had no idea Paul sang with these guys.. man, with the salad dressings and film career, that was one busy dude…

Pieces of April was good, and I liked Out in the Country, I think Liar was another one that was worthy.. I don't know if I would have liked them as much if my parents hadn't rocked out to them in my formative years…but there you go…and hey, the drummer came from my home town, so there's that..

I agree that of their songs, that is the one I least enjoy as well, because it was played to death. That would kill me too, hearing that for 8 hours a day.

Especially when you get to see them unedited in full cartoony violence mode.. I remember they defanged them a bit for awhile, thinking that people might think if you actually got hit by a real boulder your body would turn into an accordion but then sproing out again after awhile…or something like that… some of the

Yes! Also, One (is the loneliest number).. there really is not a bad one in the lot.. having said that, my cd was a greatest hits collection, so I suppose that there could be weaker ones in the regular album.. still.. so many great songs…

This band is one of my guilty pleasures.. my parents used to play it all the time when I was growing up, which was maybe why I loved them, but they have about 20 or songs that are, to me, classics.. from eli's coming to celebrate to one man band, joy to the world, shambala, black and white.. so many great songs..

I never watched either… so get off my lawn old man! Seriously, though, I'm happy to hear that the joy of looney tunes and bugs, etc., found some love with the newer generations.. Personally, I think its timeless stuff, which is hard to do with comedy.. but that is clearly a subjective view..I am still waiting for

guys, doesn't bugs bunny rate a mention? Probably the best cartoons of all time, and the bugs bunny roadrunner show is as awesome as an adult as it was for the kids… or perhaps I'm dating myself? Do kids even watch this stuff anymore?

I will have to check that out..thanks for the tip!

in today's "My obscure record collection"…my brother got this album years ago, entitled Todd Rundgren's Utopia. Side one was a few songs, if I recall, but side two had one song on it.. the Ikon, I think.. so amazing.. There were maybe 10 or 11 people playing in that band, maybe more…so many melodic themes and ideas

nice comment /username synergy.. :)

The first time I saw Stanley Tucci was when he played a sly, twisted possibly bad/criminal guy in the first season of Murder One, which is still one of my favourite all time tv show seasons.. He was so great in that, that I watched for his name to appear elsewhere, which it did in Big Night.. also fabulous…

Is it just me, or is the line "We are treating it like it is Toto V, which was our follow up to Toto IV" stupidly redundant? Couldn't you have just stopped at "We are treating it like it is Toto V.." What ELSE could it possibly be a follow up to? Toto VI?.. I mean, really? Is that how it works? Wait, let me guess…

I lived the same life! Except in my case, I was told as a kid that I could grow up to be anything that I wanted to be, and I took that literally. I wanted to be the black batmobile…

It is a fantastic show.. you learn stuff, you laugh, sometimes continually and for long stretches, its just .. well, great - and if you can find it on the internet.. cough cough.. you can watch it from the first season onwards.. I highly recommend doing so.. sometimes the jokes call back episodes from seasons back..

ok.. I'm a little behind here, as I've only seen the first show so far, and you guys are all on episode 3 by now, but I kind of think this reviewer was watching the show with a bad attitude. I watched it, didn't notice that it was longer, laughed out loud at the "I'm sorry" montage, as well as the "email" montage,

Its a hard task to do, coming up with acts deemed worthy of the Super Bowl. Almost by definition, it has to be an act that is larger than the rest of the acts out there, with a wide enough fan base to appeal to most. It would be hard to pick anything but dinosaur acts, as a result, I would think.. which is a pity,

not sure if this is quite applicable, but if you listen to the studio version of Bruno Mars "Runaway" I think its called, its ok, nothing special. But then you see him do it live at either the grammys or the Super Bowl performance, with the boss horns and James Brown version, its totally kickass. I wish he'd release
