Depends what the gas tax is being spent on. You’d have to specifically limit that revenue to being spent on infrastructure.
Seems all of this could be solved with a gas tax. Increases the price of gas, that money goes towards better roads, and now you can safely drive your lower clearance higher gas mileage car.
This needs more stars. Hell, this needs a front page article about just how shittily built the Freelander was...
