I agree that 5.5 miles (both ways) is easily achievable on a bike. That’s kind of the point, you can’t comfortably walk it regularly, but biking it should be no problem unless it’s winter or in inclement weather.

I have a diamondback and 5.5 miles is piddly. I’ll do 30 regularly later this summer. That said a bike like that isn’t conductive to taking a family amount of groceries home.
