I’ve had a compound butter (garlic, shallot, parsley) *on* a burger and it was good. I’d rather get the fat *in* the burger from actual beef fat. Although, I’d try a Juicy Lucy style interpretation with garlic butter (not what she was proposing though). If you’re going to put butter in the burger, go big or go home.
