Wow you and Careena really overreacted to Charleysthebest there. It felt super defensive in a way that wasn't based on anything other than the tone you thought you were getting. Beware of jumping down someone's throat about that on the internet as it's so easy to be wrong. Okay, so to address both your suggestion as

Not sure why you didn't see a throughline. I mean of all the episodes, this was one of the more clearly defined ones in terms of issues with family, friends, and work. To me, that there was a lot going on isn't some sign of confused writing but of layers because it all seemed connected and complicated without being

Loved the episode. Loved Garret Dillahunt's delivery of his ridiculous character. Loved it.

So basically you're gonna spew a bunch of false gossip if you actually tell us so you're acting like there's something to tell when there's not. Ya got nothin', pal.

I knew the character but had no idea what his name was or the actor. Had to look up who the heck Adrian was. He's awesome when he's there. Kinda wanna see more of him.

Oh I've thought that too. In fact, after watching Shatner talk to him at that piano, it occurred to me that Avery basically *is* jazz. Just as a person. He's in a human body, but he has jazz as his essence, and it comes out of his pores. Think him like that and you'll be fascinated. Try to make him behave and talk as

Ah, you must watch You've Got Mail. It'll really help you see how great an homage this finale was. Adam Pally's really breaking through. Love how Peter's a bro with a heart of gold.

Tamra and Morgan got mad at him and Peter got mad at him because they're all romantics about Mindy's love life. They don't want anybody to hurt her. Peter's also resentful that he didn't go public with Mindy before. Now that everything's out in the open and he can see they're in love, he's full on shipping them. Same

Besides which, she's not really been with Tim Daly that long that he steps aside like that (very Bill Pullman in Sleepless, wasn't he? Holy crap, another Sleepless parallel). A guy you've been with all season and he thinks it's okay to send her after another guy? She'd have also been too involved emotionally with

Ha.

Poor Danny's thinking he can't successfully maintain a relationship (he's failed at the most significant romantic one he tried to have so he doesn't know how to trust something won't fall apart) and it speaks to how much he loves her that he doesn't want to lose her. He's thinking this hurt will be easier than waiting

The show was filmed last fall and meant to air months ago, so no, they don't have delusions of grape grandeur. They just couldn't really edit out the time oops.

Basically you missed the best episodes then if you stopped watching before the hiatus. So much kissing. Good times. Messina did sell the breakup to me in part because I was expecting it. Frankly I was surprised we got as much of them together as we did before they parted. I thought she'd have more going on with Cliff

If they renew Fringe for years and bail on The Mindy Project, I'm officially confused about what Fox is trying to achieve. Support shows you believe in. It took me a long time to get back to Fox after other cancellations of theirs (I'm still mad at NBC). If they chuck TMP I'm honestly not sure if I'll make the effort

New Girl was a rerun though. If it were a new ep, would the drop in TMP have happened? Didn't the other new eps that night on Fox rise? Maybe it even ticks up a couple tenths. Thanks a lot for the sabotage, Fox. It's like when Castle had a series low after they got aired two weeks after their last new ep and after a

I've been known to realize them up to 2 years later.

Yeah I think he forgot for a moment what 'breath of fresh air' was code for in the sex trap. You see him do an 'uh oh, did I just miss that? Crap.' His reaction to that hug was so sweet. They both like each other just as they are. :)

An anti-shipper? Gah. Nevah! If I hear them compared to Liz/Jack again I'm gonna gag. Team Mindy/Danny.

I don't think I dreamed this up. The first ep of S2 should explain that it was stress eating.

Jeremy got fat while Mindy was in Haiti. She was gone and Danny was farther away from the practice so with Jeremy in charge and lonely he got all kinds of stressed. This led to a bunch of eating. Probably could've made it clearer during the season but it was in the first episode this year.
