I was there. Your recounting of the events is insanely untrue. There was zero amount of ‘disrupting everyone else at the school’s daily lives.’ They were not ‘obstructing’ any officers. They were sitting in a circle, and the officers were on the outside of the circle.

Conversely, not wanting to spend $250 for something that is considered lifesaving and necessary is a bit boggling. If it’s that much of a strain, skip a few months of cable. Or stop buying coffee from shops. Or go with a smaller cell phone data plan. Etc etc. I don’t know which, since I don’t you or your lifestyle.
