John Dvorak hasn't been relevant since software came in magazine form and had to be typed into your computer to work.

Same reason the DiNovo Mini costs $129.99 :(

Uh, the $99 version comes with the keyboard. There is no package of a Revue without the keyboard. Which doesn't really explain why the keyboard on its own is still $99.

From the reviews (and personal experience), I'm not so sure the webtop stuff really is that big a draw. The webtop dock is pricey, and its actual advantage is limited. With an HDMI cable, Bluetooth keyboard/mouse, you get a similar result.

So, other than the kickstand, it is an HTC Sensation 4G? Cause I can't find any differences.

Damn - you are right, my S95 uses Mini. I've had an Eye-Fi card in it for ages so totally forgot.

This would have been awesome two years ago when MiniUSB still popped up. Now I can't think of a single device I own that needs it.

I thought it had been proven many times that the Mythbusters were not always right in their conclusions. Perhaps we need a mythbustersmythbusters show.

#trollfail — I actually have an iPad, and an iPad2 but use my Xoom for daily use. I prefer the bottom-bar shortcuts on my Xoom over the gestures on the iPad. The gestures feel like an afterthought to me as a way to compensate for something they should have implemented from day one. From your comments, it sounds like

rumored? Based off rumors out there, every single product is going to be a massive #fail. That said, I've never done anything on my Android tablet(s) that required more than 2 fingers. Apparently only Apple requires insane gestures to make shit happen.

Who cares about Apple services? An Amazon tablet would come with Amazon video, Amazon music, Amazon Kindle books and any number of other Amazon services. Amazon has the infrastructure to make something truly amazing. Combine it with their distribution (free overnight shipping??) and you can see why I'm excited.

Mark my words: Amazon will hit Apple where it hurts once they come our with their own tablet. IMHO an Amazon lineup of tablets will be the first devices to actually take market away from the iPad. Sure, removing in-app purchasing from iOS hurts now, but they'll more than make up for this with their own devices.

I always assumed they did this — how else would they have created such an extensive database of gps-free mapping. Isn't this also how they were able to live without Skyhook?

Yes, and the point of the link is? The one in your link is an HSDPA+ device, the one being discussed here is a CDMA version. Totally different phones.

Which would be interesting if the Droid 3 were a 4G phone. Alas, it is not. No LTE means no requirement for an LTE sim. The SIM in this one is for the dual-mode radio so it'll roam on GSM networks.

I really hope she uses that argument in court.

I hate products like this.

My comment was actually trying to help you make your point. You were do defensive that you completely missed that. Shame actually.

With the rise in legal music download services, proving your download was the illegal one seems almost impossible. I upload/download music to all kinds of legal services (Amazon, Google etc...), so short of tracking every single IP exchange between my computer and a torrent hosting machine, they'll have a hell of a
