You missed my other comments. I walk and take public transportation more than I drive, and I love driving. What I’m saying is public transportation and bicycling are not efficient/safe enough to fully replace cars.

No, I don’t drive around the city much, I drive around Brooklyn. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for public transport (hint: I take it every day) and reducing smog, but there are some cases where private cars are necessary.

I don’t know where you live, but I live in NY, and banning vehicles outright will. Not. Work. Yes, it would be nice, but it won’t work the way things are. We can’t walk everywhere, and public transportation is a crumbling mess as it is now.
