For buying a modified car, it is my understanding that with certain rare exceptions when a car has a full modification package from a known tuning company (e.g. Alpina, HPE), modifications lower the value of the car rather than increase it. If someone has dumped $6,000 into their GTI, that does not make the GTI worth…
My first thought was “so what about test driving,” but then I realized that every person I know who currently owns or is in the process of buying a Tesla, never drove it before they bought it.

What’s odd is that the same channel already did the same comparison, just without the added expense of the limited edition WRX, and a different older WRX. In fact, it was probably what lead them to buy the hawk eye.
