I think they blacked out the chrome on the grill as well.

EcoSport ST.

That makes sense. I live in an area (south central PA) where you sometimes have to drive around horse and buggies. I’m happy when I don’t have to avoid horse shit on the road.

Nah, just a job with flexible hours. In hindsight, dealerships maintaining a loaner fleet around here are pretty rare, even at luxury marques. Perhaps that curbs my expectations. Not to say that you expect too much, just that it doesn’t bother me in the least.

I suppose it depends upon the dealership. I’ve only ever taken my Subaru in for routine maintenance. If it was more than an oil change (inspection, 30k service) they take me to work after I drop off the car and pick me back up once it’s done.

I can only suggest not York, PA. I mean the NHRA weekend is cool, but the rest of the time we’re limited to stanced VWs, old Hondas with fart cannons, lifted trucks, and cows.

I now feel kinda awkward about making that insurance joke about 20 seconds ago.

I wouldn’t say no to either, although my insurance agent might.

My personal favorite. With the big goofy wing.

One of the things that has always intrigued me about a first gen Viper is how much a replacement hood costs. They’ve actually come down in price since last I looked:

The Internet is no place for your silly facts.

The issue was most prominent on the EJ251 rather than the EJ222 you have. The problematic engine hasn’t been used for 13 years, not to say that a BHG can’t still happen. Glad you’re happy with the 2.2. They hold up well in my experience, too.

Also the fact that the correct part has GFY in it made me chuckle.

Isn’t the same idea going to be on this season of The Grand Tour? Hopefully it ended better for BMW.

Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Anyone else take note of the size of the water bottle before Clarkson handed it over?

I just rented a Fusion while visiting family in North Carolina. While it wasn’t a particularly bad looking car, every single one of us walked up to the wrong car in a parking lot at least once, including me. In my defense, at least it was a different Fusion of the exact same spec and color.

I both post and read Internet comments while happily owning a stock engine BRZ.

As the teenage owner of a ‘96 Tercel I wanted one of these so badly. The manual transmission had a fifth gear, Jason. A FIFTH GEAR!!!! NOT FOUR. FIVE!

Enabler.
