The suggestion for online glasses is good BUT if - like me - you need varifocals be careful. They need very careful fitting to your site and your face.

SkypeOut maybe a good deal in the US, but in the UK, it's not that great. Within UK, SkypeOut calls are about 1p a minute while many VOIP operators offer 1p per CALL.
