Having the ticket up on the phone waiting to be scanned takes no more time than someone scanning the boarding pass. If that person is a dumbfuck they’re going to fumble with a paper ticket just as much as their phone, be regardless- you’ll be waiting on the sky walk, then inside the plane for grandpa to put his bag

Exactly! You could for example look around you and make sure you’re not in someone’s way or perhaps you could let another passenger queue in and there’s the lost art of conversation.  Or you could just stare at that little rectangle in your hand and ignore the world around you. ;)

Awesome point...I absolutely need you to scan your paper boarding pass 1.5 seconds faster so I can rush down the jet bridge and stand in line. Or there there’s no lineup I can sprint down to the plane so I can wait in line while everyone ahead of me is putting their bags in the overhead.

Just because you can’t operate your phone doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t.

Always remember that most people are idiots. And a phone with an internet connection makes them distracted idiots.

THANK YOU. We're arguing about hurrying up and waiting!

Yeah, never been stuck behind people in security or while boarding because they still have their boarding pass in their pocket or bag, or their printer was low on ink so the scanners are having a problem picking up the barcode, or they had it crumpled up in their pocket so the scanner is struggling to read the

Thank you for this. The problem sounds like an issue with the people using the app rather than the app itself.

Really? I don’t understand this.

Eh - all you’re doing at that point is hurrying through the scan to stand in line on the jetway.

Also, the pass is suggested on the lock screen and literally is a tap away. Pulling it up literally takes less than 1 second. LITERALLY

Umm that doesn’t happen unless you’re super dumb. Not everyone struggles with tech. Disposable paper isn’t a better option.

The probability of something going wrong with a digital boarding pass is about the same as the probability of dropping your boarding pass. Especially if your airline allows you to store the boarding pass in the Wallet (or whatever the Android equivalent is).

Done and done. Its not for me I’m healthy as a horse but for the other people who are not as healthy as you. This is literally a time to think of the children.

Well, that blows.

They better get the quality right. Germans won’t tolerate the panel gaps.

You’re lucky to be walking away from C&C at all given Mustangs are involved.

I’ve been a domestic car enthusiast my entire life.....and I think burnouts are obnoxiously stupid and pointless. If you’re doing a burnout and you’re not preparing to launch at the track, there’s a good chance you’re an idiot.

I’d argue that the Model 3's dash layout makes it more of a driver’s car because, rather than stuffing a bunch of vehicle management junk in your face, it’s just you, the wheel, and the road—very focused on the act of driving, not machine management and compliance monitoring (besides, you can configure speed audio

I thought it would be a pita too but then I started counting how often I actually check my speed. Its not very often at all. My car before the Tesla had a HUD and while it was nice and easier than reading the IP gauge you still have to change focus to read it. Basically the quick glance to the Model 3 speedo isn’t
