Stock market values have always been about emotions of the crowd over the short term.  This isn’t new or unusual.  It is how markets work, because it is how people work.  

Wait times are still over a month for new builds of Model 3s. The Model Y will raise sales a bit too. I’m still not confident in that preorder number of the Cybertruck but the hype is high enough to keep people interested till it releases and it will certainly sell at capacity for at least 6 months.

I would.  In any corporation of that size it’s worth the money just to avoid having lawyers and regulators nosing around your papers, even if you did nothing wrong.
