Done and done. Its not for me I’m healthy as a horse but for the other people who are not as healthy as you. This is literally a time to think of the children.

Well, that blows.

They better get the quality right. Germans won’t tolerate the panel gaps.

You’re lucky to be walking away from C&C at all given Mustangs are involved.

I’ve been a domestic car enthusiast my entire life.....and I think burnouts are obnoxiously stupid and pointless. If you’re doing a burnout and you’re not preparing to launch at the track, there’s a good chance you’re an idiot.

This take is dumb and wrong, and I know of multiple people now in California that have explicitly made vehicle buying decisions to avoid the companies that have sided with Trump. And yes, it is a signal they want to make dirtier car and skirt CARB.

Ultimately, it will limit choice and stifle development.

“If you fragment regulation into a state-by-state basis, it will make it incredibly difficult and expensive to develop vehicles that comply with each regulatory environment. Ultimately, it will limit choice and stifle development.”

We already have a single standard. We all drive California spec cars. California will always have a higher standard and car manufacturers will always build to the highest spec. All Toyota, Subaru, GM, etc. are doing is signalling they want to build to a lower spec that the federal spec will definitely be. The issue

The way they handles that today seems to be that they build for the most restrictive market. Essentially, we’re all driving CA spec cars. I don’t have a problem with a single federal standard unless it’s simply a tool to do an end-run around emissions.

I’d argue that the Model 3's dash layout makes it more of a driver’s car because, rather than stuffing a bunch of vehicle management junk in your face, it’s just you, the wheel, and the road—very focused on the act of driving, not machine management and compliance monitoring (besides, you can configure speed audio

I thought it would be a pita too but then I started counting how often I actually check my speed. Its not very often at all. My car before the Tesla had a HUD and while it was nice and easier than reading the IP gauge you still have to change focus to read it. Basically the quick glance to the Model 3 speedo isn’t

Well, they could side with the California states, which are pushing for a higher emissions standard. Siding with the Trump admin, who are pushing for a lower standard, is literally a

Ahhh, gotcha.  That would make sense.  I’ve only ever seen them as open air.

I think that’s external combustion.

Stock market values have always been about emotions of the crowd over the short term.  This isn’t new or unusual.  It is how markets work, because it is how people work.

Wait times are still over a month for new builds of Model 3s. The Model Y will raise sales a bit too. I’m still not confident in that preorder number of the Cybertruck but the hype is high enough to keep people interested till it releases and it will certainly sell at capacity for at least 6 months.

No more $500 TPMS replacements? *dobby is free*

This is a bad idea for passenger cars. How am I supposed to blame my shitty driving on a 1.5 PSI difference in tire pressure if there’s no air in the tire?!

Looks like they reinvented the wheel.
