Maybe a South East Asian Doctor?
Maybe a South East Asian Doctor?
Of course not. Canon is determined by angry fans!
Why is it forced? I hear this argument for why women and POC shouldn't be cast in things all the time and it never makes any sense to me. Just because the media presents white men as the default human doesn't mean that they are. Women aren't some sort of weird anomaly, we're half the population. If Doctors can…
+1 on that request. Well, any race for that matter... Lucy Liu as Doctor Who...
Can we just get a black female and kill two birds with one stone?
Nova movie? Thinkin'...no.
Surely it's just that there is no current story to tell about Nova atm and wouldn't fit in the marvel family. I am guessing Nova will come after the Infinity Wars. Thanos will destroy Xandar to get the infinity stone. With Nova corp gone, a new hero will be needed, which i think is a similar story in the comics.
If ANYONE out there doesn't know why Nova is such an amazing character, immediately go track down the Annihilation stories. Go on. I'll wait.
He has "perfect muscle control".
Seriously, I'm sure Superman would outfit their home with lights that mimic the output of a Red Sun, thus negating any super affects the baby might inherit.
Dramatization.
I would definitely read Multiversity. I think DC is going to use the work Morrison is doing in that mini-series to set the foundation upon which Convergence will change things.
They probably realized New 52 was shit and that constantly rebooting is idiotic and convoluted.
I say that, but in no way do I believe DC has actually learned any intelligent lessons. They never do.
What was it that Larry Niven said ... ?
I would bet instead that they'll find a way to run both semi-simultaneously. Since the Earth-2 universe is basically being destroyed by Apokolips in the events of World's End and Futures End, I wouldn't be surprised if there's some shuffling of the multiverse.
They're eliminating the New 52 after this. Guaranteed. Place your bets now, folks. It might not be a clean reversion to the old DCU, but it'll be close.
So, DC, realizing that the key to increasing readership is to offer easy access points to new readers, has decided to start fresh by mixing multiple confusing chronologies together. That makes perfect sense.
I hate to think what will happen when the baby starts kicking....
So apparently the DC universe has gone batshit insane. Good.
I liked Chronicle. So it's entirely possible this movie will be ok taken completely on it's own. But as an adaptation of Fantastic Four it sounds kind of abysmal. I thought, in a post Avengers world, we were passed all of this being ashamed of the comic book roots and taking out all the fantastical elements of it…
