Okay—

Nobody else was doing shit about it as far as he could see, so he tooled up and got some solid intel that people would have to pay attention to. He gave his life in the process.

Yes, exactly.

Well, now that the Shadows know they've been seen, they might choose to not move openly for a little while, wouldn't they? Softly, softly. Not that Earth doesn't use the paranoia angle. (This, again, is why I say, Keffer, you hero. And not as a compliment.)

I was generally with you up until the last line.

If you can see it as Dana clumsily trying to fast-forward Casey from wounded boy into grown-ass man, it’s overbearing, maybe—conniving, definitely—but it’s not a bitch move.

What @avclub-b45569825d3d2952b8016ea039d908d1:disqus said, so well that he has completely obviated my need to say anything. Which is why I'm leaving this comment, which says nothing.

Spoilers here!

Yes, the Lurker's Guide got there first, but even before I'd read it, the Minbari ritual meal struck me as an alien version of Passover. Between the ritualized order ("Seder" literally means "order") of the meal, the place set aside for Valen/Elijah, and someone always falling asleep—at least, that's how it plays out

Given your avatar I'm not shocked you're enthused…

Almost Human: Just one character named Elijah Bailey or Daneel Olivaw, that's all I ask…

@Automocar:disqus Exactly.

@Automocar:disqus The WB has earned something like $1 billion on Babylon 5 and still claims it's $80 million in the red. Hollywood accounting at its something-est.

After a season 3 episode I won't name for spoiler reasons, Mira Furlan went up to Straczynski and asked, "so, how long did you live in Yugoslavia?" It wasn't deliberate, exactly, but…yeah.

Of course, the writer of "There All the Honor Lies" was none other than Peter "I wrote a lot of Star Trek novels" David.

The music world being what it is, I present a remix of same…specifically about Cake Wrecks. Carrie Dahlby and company present: "Wreckin' by the Book."

"Zo then I zays to him, nize ztation…"
WHAMWHAMWHAMWHAMWHAM

(And as to out-of-print—of each trilogy has two books in print and one out of print. No, I'm not kidding. How crazed.)

Oh, wow, B5 geek flag flying high today, isn't it, me…

Not an awful idea, but doesn't seem likely given they've gone to prequels. But the various book (which have been sort of unified into a single coherent timeline in the last few years) do play around with that, sort of.
