Not just the course of BMW design, but the course of automotive design. Even the E65’s rival got a Bangle butt. Not to mention flame surfacing was adopted by just about everyone, it seems.

I personally like the E65, Chris Bangle gave BMW a whole new level on the design. It completely changed the course of BMW vehicles.

Im glad to hear that the AWD system is holding up! I just got a 2011 G37xS about a month ago.

I wouldn’t bother with a warranty on a G37. They’re largely bulletproof.

For honorable mention, I would like to nominate the outstanding 1991-1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R. It's stout SR20 motor and LSD made it a hoot to drive at a bargain price.
