I find I find this to be a pretty fascinating bike. But note that the reported torque is on a hub motor, so there’s no gearing torque advantage that you get at the wheel. Comparing that to the torque on an ICE motorcycle, or even on one of the Zero machines, is misleading unless those bikes run a 1:1 drive.

That’s odd... here’s what their site says...

From the press release:

Where are you getting 200 ft-lbs from?  Their site says 130 ft-lbs... I think you’ve got it confused by the curb weight, which is 200lbs.

My initial impression, too, was that it must be tiny. From their website, however, the wheelbase is 5" longer than the Grom with the seat height 1.5" higher. Doesn’t speak to the riding position, but dimensionally it seems bigger.

I am very skeptical. I have a lot of years riding motorcycles, and almost as many in custom metal fabrication. This looks more like a college kid’s industrial design project than something really well thought out from a manufacturing point of view. In other words, designed to look cool rather than be functional.

The removable battery pack is a winning idea. Now make a removable tote that will snap into the tank hole so you can carry some groceries or other stuff.

Yup he’s been consistent on the support of Democratic legislation for $10,000 in loan forgiveness. He’s not “wavering”-this is the same thing he’s been saying from the jump.

That isn’t the claim here. The claim here is that he’s backing off of a promise to cancel student debt that he never made, and never mentioned the amount being referenced in the article.

Does student-debt forgiveness not play in Georgia, or something? Because— and I assure you, I am not qualified to lecture the President-elect— motherfucker, seems to me that it’s win two in the Peach State and do whatever the fuck you want.

I hate every fucking inch of this.

The cognitive dissonance of both being vehemently against “socialized medicine” whilst having had someone else pay his medical bills is astounding Republican.

Also gotta love the 45 strapped to his chest for those shorter-range firefight situations hunters often find themselves involved in. The holster with the Spartan icon just *chef’s kiss* completes the ensemble because that kind of stuff scares the hell out of the Bambis ...

Yup, no more than he needs that 1911 in a tactical vest holster. Always need to double up your firepower when hunting those terrifying... deer.

Okay, I will explain this for you. My favorite theory is that the writer of this ad is actually a stay at home mom (not a CEO Mom) and she is basically writing her own job description because perhaps her CEO Husband doesn’t think she does enough or whatever.

Reading the list of needs with what you wrote in my mind makes me think this is indeed a giant troll by a SAHM to (of?) her Very Important Man husband.

My favorite theory is that a SAHM wrote this re: her CEO husband and she wanted to show him that everyone thinks the amount of work she does is FUCKING INSANE.

right lolololol. they fucking KNOW and that’s half of the appeal because they’re teens and they’re figuring out their sexuality and it’s fucking fun.
