This is America, friend. We vote on subjects we don’t know anything about all the time.
I completely agree. My wife is on her second 4cyl Outback (‘18) in the past 4 years and we live in the “stop sign ramp onto a 3 lane highway merge into a 2 lane tunnel - you have 100 feet to complete your move” section of Pittsburgh. They are not a driving enthusiast’s car or even spirited but they are perfectly,…
No doubt. They say money makes you dumb.
I once sold counterfeit puppies to pay for car repairs.
I rented a ‘96 with the I4 for a weeklong trip up from SF to Portland and around Oregon. It was gutless but did handle beautifully. I’d love to have one for a weekend toy! Got like 32 MPH on the highway doing 80, but you’d have to stick it in 4th to get up some of the high-grade mountain passes.
Here ya go.

AND you can still get it with a Twin Turbo V6 with over 350 HP.... Rad.
Counterpoint - in a race to the fucking bottom, everyone loses. Except for those who run the show.
Wow. That says a lot about VAG!
I’m still convinced you could get by with just two warning lights.
Oh, man... Every car needs that Saab Night Panel option!
“Those will be led by the iNext, a wild-looking wagon-hatch thing naked mole rat unveiled in concept form last year.”
The only BMWs that come in FWD are the 2 series and X2. Literally everything else they make is on a RWD platform (even the AWD variants). Hell, even the i3 is RWD. What are you even talking about?
I’m excited for the 10" front wheels
It would seem that the guy you’re replying to has the EJ and FA engines mixed up. Embarrassing.
I have the exact same experience from the 17s I use for snows as well.
