I’m not 100% sure I’d classify it as my worst, but it’s definitely doesn’t have a real high enjoyment/cost ratio.

I’m a little bothered that I paid $80 for the base game let alone $100 for a DLC.
Seriously. You’ve got a significant chunk of change even if all you did was stick $100M in an index fund for a couple years and refund all the “deposits.”
I’m not sure about now, but Apple definitely did preorders for stuff. I remember a few iPhone launches like that when I worked for them. They did preorders that usually ran out not more than a couple hours in and filled those orders first. There was always at least a few phones for sale on the launch day — which the…
I’m sure they’ll make a few at least. Elon’s ego will suffer no less.
Between the rotted door seals, the probably unobtanium parts, and the 55gal drum of Armor-all in the interior, I’m going to give this an emphatic “No.”
That shifter does not look very nice to put your hand on.
Is this how Netflix does deals now? “Here bro, have $62M, don’t spend it all in one place, have fun?” Because, man, have I got some bridges they might want to buy...
I suspect the Bronco was purely nostalgia and the Maverick was a ton of pent up demand for a smaller truck, especially in that you could get a hybrid version.
I used to stop the pumps on people who did that when I worked at a gas station. I cleaned up too many pools of gasoline left on the pad and argued with too many people who didn’t think they had to pay for the five gallons of gas they squirted all over.
I tend to agree with the Prius bit, but my brother-in-law has one that he drives like he stole it. His car indicates that he has a lifetime average fuel economy of like 45mpg.
If the point you’re trying to make is that the folks buying the diesel Cruze didn’t know that diesel emissions equipment is expensive, unreliable, and required, I can empathize. It sucks. However, this is the kind of thing you really should learn when looking into the prospect of buying a diesel powered vehicle to…
I suspect the ride’s no small part of why she’s annoyed.
I’m waiting for the patch where they make it fun. I mean, it was interesting enough where I sunk almost 200hrs into it. Thing is, I can’t say that I really had fun or really enjoyed it. I’m honestly not sure why it took me so long to find that out.
I’m actually surprised I had to scroll this far to find a “not all boomers” argument.
That doesn’t stop them. I’m in the middle of a state where those are classified as motorcycles and require helmets. In fact, I’ve never seen somebody driving one while wearing a helmet. When I see these out and about, it’s usually a dude with a fairly tall baseball cap on, I assume to keep their combover from lifting.…
This is how I’m to understand it. All the emissions controls conspire to make the things unreliable. On top of that, many of those emissions control devices are hilariously expensive to service.
Seeing Ahti in that last screenshot makes me happy. I totally dig on the grumpy old janitor/deity/whatever he is.
You may be right about many of those things, but I don’t think Tesla specifically is that important anymore. Everybody has plans to make EV’s or makes some. Many companies are planning to drop ICE power altogether in the medium term. Plans are on roadmaps. Things are being built. The shift is happening and it’s not…
What makes you think that’s the most jacked up one? My guess is that’s one of the better ones...
