Yaaaaas!!! Rogelio is easily my favorite character. He's so ridiculous but SO GREAT.

I meant more the debate regarding the whole dominant culture appropriating a marginalized culture’s custom for own gain, disregarding the marginalized group’s cultural and historical context.
I replied to you previously - but important Jane the Virgin question : team Rafael or team Michael? I'm team Rafael but my only other Jane watching friend says I'm just being shallow.
I love Jane the Virgin so much I was dreaming about it last night. I started watching last week and am already on season 2 ep 5. I'm gonna be so sad when I won't be able to binge watch it anymore :-(
I obviously make an effort not to offend people - but you can’t always win. White girls drawing henna hearts is hardly offensive - tacky, sure. But offensive?
Proper bonkers. And I love how she didn't mind until she found out what henna was.
There's snow in only one European capital: Reykjavik. Even fucking Moscow isn't covered. This shits not alright.
I’ve had several people - okay two - call my baby sexy. It was really really weird and I had no idea how to respond. Also, he doesn’t have a ‘sexy’ name. What's happening to the world?
My thoughts exactly. I live in the Middle East (am European though) and I get henna done at weddings and other celebrations. I also had it done in India and Singapore. Oh and once in Denmark by a Pakistani friend. It's neither exclusively Arab nor does anyone think it's a rude thing to do. Basically Hadid - stop…
How does one go back to work after six weeks ? I genuinely don't understand. At that point babies still eat every few hours and can't even hold their heads up properly. Or see shit. What a world we live in. And also - who takes care of the babies so young? Do nurseries in the states take them in at that age?
I would really like to believe that nobody thinks drawing henna on your hands is cultural appropriation. But then of course I also didn't think that cheap canteen food can offend for its lack of cultural sensitivity either.
I dont understand what you mean. When she attempted the botched abortion it was still inside of her.
I know somebody who had, what I guess is the only correct term, a psychotic break when she was 8 months pregnant. She tried to then kill the baby by repeatedly punching her stomach and then throwing herself off some stairs. It had something to do with her not being able to take her meds while pregnant, and fortunately…
OMG you’re so right. Yeah - just not a good look.
I’m not trying to be ageist here, and she is beautiful, but this hair ages Alyssa Milano by 15 years.
I don't know if I feel sorry for her or am entirely indifferent to her level of stupid. My biggest concern are her poor kids who will grow up in the vicious women hating cult. But maybe the Internet will save them.
Oh it’s definitely better in the States - I wasn’t dissing, it was mild jealous teasing ;-) Whenever I travel there I literally come with an empty suitcase and go crazy. It’s the best place for shopping ever. Apart from nespresso capsules - those are overpriced.
He should have more rights because the state, as opposed to him, is not a murderous thug. And you know, there are conventions and things protecting the rights of children. Even awful, horrible children. I don’t know of any country where you are a legal adult at 16 - and him instigating the attack and still being a…
No joke - I had a very similar star print in high school :P Only the stars where silver and black only. Man, I loved that top. I wonder what happened to it.
Perhaps that’s the wrong way of saying it. What I mean is that in the US you can pay very little for clothing, so for you something that’s 100 USD is expensive. Where I am from 100 USD is in the cheap range - or at the very least would never be described as “pricey”.
