Angry old man yelling at cloud here. What I’m seeing in the cable/streaming industry is like an alternate universe version of the music industry pre and post Napster. That industry was bloated, consumer unfriendly, and ripe for disruption. People who would NEVER steal a CD from a store turned to piracy because it was

....for making a  valid, and not even particularly contrarian point?  Your some kind of internet jabber, aren’t you?

This... looks dope. I can’t believe it. I kinda don’t believe it. I’m happy they kept it as a turn based RPG and not the semi-action hybrid that FF15 was (combat was great - just don’t want that for FF7).

Uh yeah, because what pubescent boy doesn’t dream of being in a car chase? And then immediately stop growing mentally, eke through high school, and immediately become a police officer because they are the real heroes?

Great points. These extremely high interest rates seem predatory... because, well, they are. But they are also the sole source of credit for many people. Freakonomics podcast had a great breakdown of the pros and cons a few years ago.

People have a gut reaction to this, but the basics of lending require you to charge

Yeah, this band has as much soul as a line dancing ginger who wants to talk to your manager. I can’t stand their inoffensive, bland, regurgitated music.

True story, first heard the band back in 2008 when they were all over the radio and (as a white dude) my first thought was “This sounds like some white ass shit right

Two points, and I’m trying to be open minded. I support people’s right to be trans and be my neighbor or coworker, teach my kids, use the same bathroom as me, whatever. But the case of athletic competition still seems sticky to me. Just as an example, I stopped lifting weights 4 years ago, and I’m still far stronger

I haven’t posted in forever but I just gotta say: This right here is gaming journalism. Great job Mr. Schreier. I haven’t played Anthem but I grew up playing Bioware games and this was such an interesting view on how great companies/teams etc. can fail over time.

How the F do you have an article which properly denounces the need to “diagnose” and rationalize every bad behavior... and then finish it by armchair-psychiatrist attributing it to “toxic masculinity”?

Exactly my thought. I see this move as a precursor to filling the Swith’s virtual console full of old school games. If that’s why.... to a good move.

As a white guy, I often find myself getting a little defensive when I read articles about racial injustice in America. I don’t feel like a biased jerk; but am I? I don’t know. Racism is very alive and well, healthier in this year than the last. I guess we all hope we aren’t one of the bad guys and some amount of

It’s not a major issue but I’m not a handheld gamer, so I don’t have any memory cards sitting around. I can certainly afford them, it’s just annoying.

I thought of that a bit; I’m not buying the cards from them but Nintendo also doesn’t have to pay to produce/bundle them. It just seems.... cheap. Not a deal breaker for me but a slight push towards the “do not buy” side.

I have no problem buying it, but it seems like a stupid nickel and dime effort. It’s like selling me a car with only 1 seatbelt. Yeah I can technically drive it but it’s pretty much guaranteed I have to spend more to use what I JUST purchased.

Who is the audience of this article? The at least socially aware white people who voted against Trump? Too antagonistic, and they are already on your side. The racist-or-at-least-ok-with-racism white people who did vote in trump? Because they aren’t reading. I get the impression this article’s audience is Michael

I agree with all of your article. The sentiment, examples, and rationale. Black lives matter, our police forces lack accountability and anyone trying to argue there is not a racial component to police brutality doesn't understand statistics or high school mathematics.

Ehhhh. You say “attack” I say “lampoon” or even just satirize. I read kotaku almost every day, for the record. I think this fake article is just making fun of the particular social slant this site trends VERY heavily towards. Most of the time I’ve seen this fake article online, it was used in jest. When used seriously

I agree. Writing about it just feeds into the cycle. Stop talking about what a victim you are and you'll be less of a victim.

The problem with this and so many Kotaku articles is easy to summarize: vocal terrible minority is given platform, says bad things. Here is another platform. Since Kotaku’s thing is to be outraged, you are creating your own “news”. People do petty, crappy things. It's not news, unless you want to feed your outraged
