His arguments are fine, but I take issue with him grabbing any moral high ground - let alone comparing to civil rights. Ash said it - “when in truth you are a billion dollar company trying to pay less money to a trillion dollar company.”

This is 100% about money.  Epic is trying to take a moral highground to win public

I don’t know why this hits so hard but it hits so hard.

LOL, as if this transparent attempt to get the gamer vote is going to benefit her. Jokes on these politicians, I will never vote for AOC for playing games. I will vote for AOC because she’s extremely competent, morally clear, and charismatic as hell.

SUCKERS!

I still get frustrated remembering losing my entire Fallout: New Vegas character with over 60 hours of time into it. This was on the Xbox 360 and you’d think the game’s multiple save system would have avoided this, but alas and alack, it did not.

After beating the game and playing around for an extra dozen hours or so,

Agreed. There’s probably a lot that went on before this that lead to it being a breaking point for the staff, but in this particular instance I’m with the advisor. But since that’s the item the students chose to make their final breaking point it makes me at least curious about what happened earlier.

Like, how much of

I would prefer physical, if they would let me install the game on either my PS4 or Switch, and not require the disc. But since I don’t want to have to constantly rotate discs between a few games, blurays, etc. I do digital download only.

I understand why, but it’s super frustrating.

Wouldn’t the very onerous Apple quality checks on what gets into their store in theory prevent sketchy developers from getting credit cards? And it’s not like Apple is limiting what websites and merchants you spend with on their devices. I definitely don’t think this is altruistic.

It’s weird for me to root for the

As a secondary problem to this already huge problem, police departments are notoriously terrible at managing their own cyber security (who would have guessed?). So now we have very sensitive breached data being put into the hands of people who won’t be able to protect it from a second breach, further spreading all our

Yeah, this seems like a good option for them. First of course they need to fix their basic issues (awful sales quotas, horrible over crowded floor plans, reliance on used game sale markups), but shrinking the # of stores and pivoting to more of a game “club”? Maybe. Charge like $20/month for access to their services,

Yeaahhhh.... I knew as I was typing “want that excuse” that I was kidding myself.  If you can’t stick to your morality in not playing a single video game, you aint worth much.

Really tough for me here. I returned to WoW for classic and have had more fun gaming than I have in 5+ years. I cancelled that subscription with Blitzchung and Hong Kong as the reasons why.

I’ve been hoping Blizz would give me an excuse to resub by making this right. They’ve kinda half assed that response by making the

Absolutely true, and I think most people know that. But I’d rather do a little than shrug and do nothing. So I cancelled my WoW subscription, which was pretty tough since it’s how I spend 90% of my game time since Classic came out.

And in 5-10 years Blizz can be a China-first company, if that’s what they want.  Go for

I’m a new dad. I want to talk to Greta’s parents and find out what they did so I can help my daughter be just like her

I don’t particularly love Al Sharpton, but he delightfully trounced this petulant bitch Gaetz.

Ahhh they’ve really asserted their dominance by inconveniencing a tired dad who just wanted to relax on his few free hours a week.  We all tremble before you...?

I think it is really widely used. It’s got its own steam tag. Google “soulslike” and dozens of games will pop up. It’s established.

Your endorsement was the final point I needed to make this my August game purchase. Super glad I did! The controls have a little bot of “float” to them, yet still seem tight. It’s only very vaguely a souls-like - it has a hub, and respawning and a few other light touches, but it really feels like its own type of

Not that Grindr shouldn’t be on this list, but it’s weird that Tinder isn’t?

As a new dad, I empathize with this so much. I gave up on Destiny 2 because I couldn’t keep up with my friends, but I am a massive Dark Souls fan. I decided that at 7 months old, I could sneak off enough to replay a souls game and because sans DLC, DKS2 is the easiest, went that way.

Dear lord I miss the dreamcast. Not that I want to particularly play these games now - I just really miss when my the years the DC was out and maybe the 5 years after it failed when I was still happily playing Soulcalibur, MVC2, house of the dead, and other Sega gems.
