No intentional offence to anyone here, but I see a LOT of anti-Microsoft remarks in the comments below.

@verditsgerman: I do often leave my umbrella on the floor and my backpack purposefully sticking out, or more often, on the opposite chair. Hasn't worked so far - think I'll uh, use some string next year :P

@Justin: IT IS SO GOOD. $7.80 gets me a large dish of rice / fried rice + 3 selections. I always go for the greens, potatoes and roast lamb (comes with gravy).

Only 11 days? My Nokia often surpassed a whole month with minimal usage.

With all due respect to vegans of the world, I hope PETA doesn't use this as an argument point the next time they verbally harass me at the university food court while I'm happily munching away at my roast lamb. That would be a terrible combination of childhood-killjoy and ridiculous annoyance.

I tried to build a pneumatic tube messaging system at home once. It nearly worked until I realised my footlong message tube couldn't get around the bend...

@Giz-Guy: I respectfully disagree with your opinion. See, we're depending on technology too much. We're not always going to be typing everything - for several hundred years, I predict, we'll still have pen and paper lying around SOMEWHERE - and even when typing isn't it a lot smarter and more efficient to learn how to

@Denver is too damn high: It's a real shame that my parents didn't really know much about these historic machines back then and threw it out after I got my 1998 iMac.

@midnightz: Already use it. Still doesn't feel the same, though.

@Odin: I spent years bagging out my iPod Touch for relying on iTunes.

NOW YOU'VE SEEN IT

Challenge. Accepted.

I am against the removal of the Caps Lock key. Where I work we fill out databases where some fields require all caps, and typing in a really long chain of alphanumeric IDs with the shift key is a major pain in the arse.

Looks sexy. Now I feel like smoothing off my keys on my Thinkpad and making it letterless.

@ittekimasu: This has definitely backfired on me.

@Azu-nyan: Yes sir. Quite radioactive indeed.

@onu: Perhaps I should've said ol'

@dosdelon: I laughed for ages at this one.
