@Willard Fillmore: THAT PHOTO WAS PERFECTLY FINE UNTIL YOU POINTED OUT THE RIGHT EYE.

@dogm1: Yeah...problem with Android is that not all apps work on all devices. True story from experience.

@Phoenix303: And here's a kid who grew up on Apple machines since childhood and now uses Linux and uses an Android phone and yet loves the WP7 preview here.

@meatbag_pussrocket: And to top that off, I actually didn't mind Vista. I used the gold release for ages and forgot to update for months after SP1, and it seemed to run perfectly fine for me. Although yes, there were problems.

Haters gonna hate in the comments today. Most of them iPhone fanatics, completely convinced nothing out of Microsoft will ever be great, that Apple is the future, blah, blah, blah. If you have a point, then you won't be part of the inevitable conglomerate who will flame this Microsoft technology to death.

@theenemysgateisdown: OH so that's why I hear ringing in my ears all the time. For some reason I assumed it was because I was within the vicinity of too much electromagnetic fields (cellphone signals, for example).

Of course, Motorola will have a lameass excuse like 'protecting users from hackers' due to the vulnerabilities potentially exploitable due to the openess, or some bullshit like that. Fortunately, we all know this isn't the case. The real case is that the smartarse who thought eFuse was a good idea was actually

As much as I whinge that default Android looks ugly, things like Sense, Blur, and Sony's weird TimeScape are bloats I'd rather not have. Seriously, we need more phones with the Nexus One philosophy - no custom software, just the damn default thing. Much like how Windows Phone 7 is banning said interfaces.

I'm imagining generations of chicken ancestors laying beta eggs, all of which failed to produce offspring until one day, years on, a hard shell was produce and the chicken was hatched. However, the chicken ancestors thought this chicken was retarded, so they called the successful egg a release candidate, hoping to

@madmolf: Your netbook reference is excellent. I'm a gizreader, and I happily mention now that the only time I load up my C2D E8500 PC with 2gigs of RAM and a HD4670 graphics card sucking up a total 350W is when I need to do photography work, or I feel like some intense gaming, so in other words, maybe twice a week at

@This user was banned: I actually didn't mind Vista. Gold Release seemed to work fine for me...and surprisingly fast, too.

@brianhatch: OH wow thanks for that! Yeah, great shame it never came to existence. :(

@ethanlechcharles: I know, but I've tried several times to develop them with crappy results, and I was just hoping that it'd exist for the fun of it, really.

@frigg: We need a like button.

You know what would be really cool? Reusable film. Like, a digital cartridge where the film is exposed or something, because my dad's old film SLR is accumulating dust in the closet and it feels an awful waste.

Reading all the comments below, I can easily group into three primary subjects:

Oh god, every time I get ready to move platforms something like this pops up. Guess Android's sticking around as my primary phone device for a bit longer then...
