"Yes, you finally made a monkey out of meeeeeeeeeee."

This is why I'm OK with Spotify.

I thought it was "She's Having a Baby," "Nine Months," or "Knocked Up."

I don't care if this is essentially a dead thread, I'm still working on the song. I've recorded about 1/3 the parts. Even if it's just for your amusement Pure Guava, it'll be worth it, I'm having a fun time making it!

I've been slowed down with a busy week but I'm not letting this go. It's all written and just needs to be recorded. I hope it's worth the wait . . . I'm pulling a George R. R. Martin on my timetable here.

Lyrics are done, and a tune is in my head. Will likely start recording tomorrow. Here's a taste of part of the theme (it's an exposition-style theme):

On the first episode . . .

Most of the lyrics are done. This F***ing theme song is happening . . .

TWIN Direwolfs, separated at birth?! "I wish I could be you for just ONE day!!"

You've inspired me. If I have time this week, I'll get on it!

It may pay off though. Remember, part of the rap culture is self-aggrandizement, and they are in the popular music business, where it pays to think outside of the box. Or, in this case, inside the box, as long as it's "an engraved silver-and-nickel box designed by British-Moroccan artist Yahya."

I think I disagree about Saul. There's every reason to believe that he should survive the whole series and even make it to his character's retirement beyond the scope of the show. It's unfair to to judge his instincts based on that one first brief meeting with Walter, and even then his life was never truly in danger.

Only by the rules of their society. He has his father's Stark blood in him nonetheless. Some lords choose to acknowledge their bastards, and that does give them some degree of rights in the hierarchal chain. Sure, it's like "assistant secretary to Speaker of the House," but it is a spot.

I just saw this reply now . . . Yes, it seems for the time the Freys have won what they wanted. But spiritually, they have broken one of the most sacred covenants in Martin's world. I have no idea if he will show consequences for this, but he's written enough hints that there are, in their life or the next.

A teacher in France teaching French?! That's like an American English teacher teaching French!!

But this teacher was INSANE for showing it in class. Show the red balloon or something! At least your movie choice into your subject! And just that that anything rated more than "G" is putting you at risk. And in most districts even that is dangerous if you didn't get official permission to play any movie.

I do think you're wrong on this one. I avoided watching it for quite a while. I do  like horror and at times gore, but not when people are confined or chained down etc. the torture stuff. If someone is free to flee from the monster but then bloodily gets caught, great. Just don't friggin' tie them down and torture

I got permission to show West Side Story to my 6th Grade music class, and I'm still always nervous about their reactions to the rumble and Chino shooting Tony. I just outright skip the part where shirtless Tony is holding Maria in bed.

The Frey Household will be feeling the consequences of this well into the time the people of Westeros develop iPods.

One thing the books make clear (No spoilers here, just the tone of the book) is how deep a betrayal it was for the Freys to do what they did. Wedding deals get broken at times, and they are seen as deep slights, but nobody ever, NOBODY. EVER. breaks Guest Rights. Deepest of enemies can eat together once one has eaten
