Why are you so sure there won’t be a handheld still? This thing looks really expensive and really not kid friendly. I could see them doing a smaller, lower power system alongside this one.

Really it’s just more of a work culture thing that exists in any creative field. It’s the same in architecture - a lot of my colleagues love to talk about all nighters and 14! 18!! hour days. The move controller is equivalent to the wiimote plus (added gyroscope). The problem seems to be more with the camera, and it’s coverage.

I don’t know what’s left to crack, if it’s something subtle or fundamental, but ALL of these games make it look like the car is kind of skating along just above the ground, rather than making contact with it. All the graphical fidelity in the world won’t make up for that.

Closer to point and click adventure genre, but with minigames. The last Mario RPG was on gamecube.

The only games they really seem to be looking after are Forza games. Crackdown’s been missing for years, Phantom Dust and Fable are no more, Gears of War absent until year four, even their most important brand, Halo, had a disastrous debut.
