You played it for one hour? I guess I know who's opinion NOT to trust on this one!

What's up with that video? I know it's customary to advertise a japanese game with completely uninformative mishmashes of anime, but seems like more of a review?

I would gladly trade my Zelda for MH4!

That's sad. But I think it would make sense to indicate your level of familiarity with the series because you seem to be trying to convince people it's a mess when really, it might be a masterpiece.

It is extremely cumbersome. Unless you loved the "humor" from the demo, save the $40 for bravely default if you like RPGs.

Wouldn't it make more sense to go

If you bought a Wii U last year, there was no way you knew what was coming a year out. The only games on that list that were announced were Pikmin and W101, both of which, might I add, were "launch window" games. If I bought a Wii U day one with the expectation of playing those games, I know I'd be pretty unhappy

Weird... I thought the reason was marketing - they wanted the Wii U and 3DS version out the same day. Hard to believe it takes a year and a half to rename the weapons.

Sadly anything Dragon Quest related wouldn't have any hype-building cache over here. Honestly I think X has a better chance. People are still talking about xenoblade, a little.

You have to understand that different games appeal to different people. Of that list, I'm only interested in 3 games (+ monster hunter) and that's not enough to warrant a wii u purchase. Wii U needs a game that is entertaining for more than 15-20 hours (mh counts but nobody cares). Smash Bros, Mario Kart, X, Animal

GBA games Please! (how i wish I hadn't sold my ambassador system)

what do they need to license?

Porco mayyy live in the sewers. Be considerate!

I really would like to try out the ps4 controller on mac, but I hate the idea of buying a controller where a bunch of the functionality is there just to drain batteries (gyro, touch pad, light). I did use the PS3 controller for a while, but it was to unpredictable as far as what games would work properly with it.

The point is, I imagine, the people who are responsible for the product are using it, and can therefore make better judgments about how it needs to change.

It's not a nice sentiment, or a nice thought. It's just dumb. If he wanted to inspire confidence in his clientele, he should say he has one and he should also say that he is playing it. What he did say just sounds like disingenuous BS.

Arkham City doesn't really strike me as a great mac (or pc) game. It's the only one on the list that is virtually unplayable without a controller - and as far as I can tell there isn't a controller that works really reliably on mac (whereas a 360 controller is pretty easy to recommend for windows).

you are not wrong
