I think a more useful metric would be to record the time it takes to get into the game proper - not to a menu screen, not to the intro FMV, but into the game engine. I can't imagine it took 13 seconds for that to happen (in the case of Assassin's Creed).

Watching that video it's pretty hard to be impressed with the environments. I realize it's a launch game, but it looks absolutely barren. If Cerny wanted to demonstrate the hardware's ability, at least a little care should have gone into making the world feel alive.
