As opposed to waiting until he falls asleep? What the hell is going with you Millennials?

No, I mean people with active green cards. As a side note, green cards cannot expire; the technical term for having one is having lawful permanent residence (LPR), with emphasis on the permanent. While the physical cards themselves have expiration dates, if the card expires you are still 100% in the same status. The

I’d really love to stop talking about how the President is perceived (and how he perceives himself) and keep the focus on the bigger issues. Can we please hone in on the fact that the president’s VOICE program is one of the most frightening things we’ve seen come from a President who is already hell bent on crushing

mentally, physically, ideologically, politically, temperamentally...you name a ly, and he’s unfit for it.

That would be my read too. The entire group would have been shot on sight, without questions and it would have been quick and it’s so fucked up.

I agree. I kinda fear that currently the left is wholeheartedly buying into this rhetoric that conservatives don’t have a worthy message and everything they say is garbage. The thing is, as a liberal, you don’t have to agree with the message but you have to understand its merit to combat it. Unless and until we do

“Spicer warned staffers not to use encrypted texting apps like Confide and Signal. sources in the room then leaked Spicer’s meeting about leaks to Politico.”

Oh, they’ll try. But here’s the difference between Stalin and Hitler and Trump. Stalin had to deal with Russians. Hitler had to deal with Germans. Trump has to deal with Americans.

Oh and also, after posting something nice and positive, can I just say that I. Can’t. Even. with the network marketing/pyramid scheme boom that’s happening on my news feed right now? If I see one more post about magical, magical gut health littered with emojis and thinspiration I’m throwing my computer off the roof.

It was obvious. :) I understand where you’re coming from, and agree with you for the most part. Feminism is a family value because it strengthens and empowers all the members of a family, regardless of the genders of the people involved. That’s a simplistic take, and people may disagree, but I do think it’s a common

That isn’t social liberalism, that is lack of empathy and not looking at the impact of your actions on others. It has nothing to do with liberalism. Social liberalism would demand us look at the impacts of our actions on others. I mean I’m liberal AF but my kid doesn’t “run wild, knocking over tables at restaurants.”

Thanks for your reply. Like I said, I do agree with a fair amount of what you were getting at, overall. I think it’s unfair to pretend that children were never little heathens before ten years ago. Kids have been raised “poorly” (for lack of a better word) since the invention of children! This is nothing new. And

Is politeness reserved for conservatives now? I’ve had a job since I was 15, I don’t consider that to be purely a “conservative” value. Do democrats not have family values? I’m failing to see where anything you listed is reserved for “conservatives”. I’m more than willing to be corrected if I’m wrong, but I’m

How are any of these things incompatible with actual feminism? If you think they are, and deserve a special label of “Conservative Feminism” (which doesn’t really exist), then you don’t actually understand what feminism is. For example, we should definitely have home ec classes in schools, but they should be required

Love. Thank you.

Shame on CPAC for inviting such an amoral, shallow, funny-haired, shameless provocateur for provocateur’s sake to speak on the national stage.

Ok you all: I have a problem. I really have not been able to do anything else except surf the news since the election. Some people I know have decided to shut it out (one told me yesterday that the “news isnt gonna get better for four years” so I might as well tune out and save myself the heartache) but I can’t do it.

And yet the enemy of my enemy is my friend...(don’t know if I got that right, Friday night intoxication kicking in)

Anybody else have tightly crossed legs while reading this?

“But let’s not pretend that openness and explicitness is the same thing.” Thanks for articulating this. It’s something I’ve always trouble with. Also, kegels seem like a much more affordable and less invasive way to tighten things up. Just sayin’.
