it could've been the lesson of sarcasm but its hard to tell

It's too many clicks to get to movie reviews with the new layout. Even if it's not driving a lot of traffic, it seems important enough to be it's own tab

A lesson in irony perhaps

If we've learned anything from cosby, ailes, trump, o' reilly, etc its that these men are innocent until proven guilty and all women are shrill harpies making up lies to extort them for their massive fortunes.

I would say there are a lot of Marnie's in the world. It may not have been the initial plan for the character, but it wouldn't surprise me if Dunham started reflecting some of her real life experiences with characters like Marnie into the character once Charlie left.

I agree. I thought it was really well done that the male in the relationship felt more wronged by a sexual betrayal, and can't even recognize his emotional affair as a betrayal because it's non-sexual in nature. Whereas the woman is more offended by an emotional betrayal.

If the genders were reversed I think we would totally be sympathetic to him. Don Draper cheated many times, with a main difference being that Draper is great at his job, a character point that Divorce doesn't really seem interested in exploring for SJP

I think the joke was that the only reason he didn't go through with it was… 9/11

This is in my top 5 of the year. Been listening on repeat since she released it on soundcloud a couple weeks ago. Pairs well with Mitski's Puberty 2 for anyone interested in more highly emotional music made by women with singular visions

I feel like anyone who makes a claim like this should be forced to link to their Facebook page so we can judge you for how privileged you are.

To each their own I suppose, but I've always thought there was more to Luffy than a lot of fans give him credit for. I think there are countless examples of him being a really subversive take of the 'holy fool' archetype (very similar to Finn the Human imo,) but one of my favorites has always been when Luffy smashes

I'm a massive one piece fan and I think there are so many distinctive things like this that make it so great. I think a lot of people who speed read through the series miss out on some of that :T

I'm curious what you mean by what One Piece does with laughter? Just how each character has a distinctive laugh?

STOP CALLING IT A KIDS SHOW…. oh wait

think that was part of the joke. They saw him as this A-list grifter, but all he did was get choked up and not say anything

everyone accepts this statement as true because no one actually saw Cars 2

I have to say I really felt the same. I've been on the wrong side of the exact same argument that Dev had with Rachel about being on her side instead of what that guys intentions were. I'm really glad the scene went that way, and I'm also really glad that conversation exists out in the world so hopefully future dudes
