I'm right there with you. It's not that JP is a bad movie, but it is a really poor adaptation of a book that read like a solid screenplay. And the JP series went downhill fast from there.

Gazorpazorp rules apply.
Not only was State of Fear reprehensible non-science, but his writing skills were at their nadir. Possibly the most didactic and boring book I've ever read.
This is one reason I still love the Davies years best. Even when there was only one companion, the Tardis could be a very crowded place. All three companions (or four if you include Jack, or five if you include Mickey the Idiot) had ties to friends and family that were kept alive and included in stories. You felt…
The apocryphal story of Pope Joan fits nicely into the idea of The Doctor banging a female pope. She was brought to Rome by an erudite lover who helped disguise her as a man and educate her until she overwhelmed her way up the church ladder to the papacy. Then the her lover got her pregnant and disappeared after she…

The best thing they could do is break with the continuity of set, costume and technology design. Tying yourself to things established over 50 years ago is bananas. Tell great stories and be entertain. That is all anyone really cares about. The twelves nerds who won't like it can stream TOS to their hearts content on…
Actions > than words. So if she doesn't believe her bullshit, then that makes her worse, not better. That makes her a heinous monster for hire. You might as well shred your soul and burn the pieces.
Raising Hope removed the last of her GILFitude for me. Although she looks great here.

They can be googled, and they are glorious. She was a dish.
That's what he said.
Is The Assignment any good? Been a long time since he made a good movie, but I keep hoping.
I love him in the rather mediocre Red Dawn. It was one of the few times he didn't play the Heavy. He was pretty relaxed and funny, which he didn't get to be often, buy he also brought a gravity to his scenes that the rest of the movie lacked.
As part of the deal to bring the show back, however, the AV Club had to agree to never recap the S1 finale.
He has survived an endless array of shitty movies, so I think the cat is out of the bag regarding his immortality.
They are going to just repeat the same Sean Spicer jokes over and over and over again until they are dust choking out of their throats in the desert of comedy that is SNL.
Just please, dear gods, do not let him sing.
