I love seeing movies on the big screen, but I never do anymore. It's too expensive for such an awful environment. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie projected properly, and the sound is often fucked. Then there is always at least one incredibly rude patron who is never told by management to shut the fuck up.

I follow Eichenwald in Twitter, so have been following this investigation. Sure seems like they have a mountain of evidence of malicious intent.

Not usually. Normally the only special effect is the reader, which is actually a very special effect. Srsly, Lee Horsely reading Lonesome Dove cracks me up repeatedly, and Frank Muller brings the tension and gravitas to everything (and makes me weep during Shawshank, especially when Red finally finds the rock wall).

I thought stopping Meng demonstrated that pretty good l well. He could have spaced him and eliminated the only witness, but he was all, "Nah, Belter Loader, you be staying here."

Scott will be dead ten years and I'll still be holding his corpse to a higher standard than I do Alan Taylor.

I did not like Genisys. I really thought it was terrible. But just regular terrible. Prometheus is special terrible, because it had every reason to be great, yet it was still awful. I'm always going to hold Scott to a much higher standard than I do Alan Taylor, super hack.

Speak up.

I tried to run though the Magicians because I keep hearing it gets crazy good eventually (VanDerWerf compared it to Buffy, for god's sake), but I petered out after give episodes.

Man-Baby Meets His Match. Again.

Oh, maybe he read some of Hearts in Atlantis. William Hurt traded off with others in that one, which was structured as loosely connected stories interwoven with a novella. Hurt read the main storyline, but others read the rest. King himself read one part.

I've not heard of any, but now I'm going to look. Thanks.

Thanks. I think I'm better of just digging into the backlog of great series I've not had time to get to yet. I mean, I've still yet to crack into Fargo or Mad Men. Peak TV is my ultimate first world problem.

This is like comparing farts, but I'll take Genisys, which was awful, over Prometheus any day. I take aspirations into account, so that puts Prometheus very near my worst movie of all time.

The AI immediately endorsed Donald Trump, but then hedged an hour later.

People say I should give this another chance. Is there anyone else who hated the first three episodes as I did, but who kept at it and thought it eventually reached greatness? Please, no responses from anyone who thought the first three episodes were good.

By the way, none of this is to say do not read. I usually have a paper or ebook going at all times. But audio books work as both substitute and compliment. Often after reading a great book, I will look to then listen to it, or vice-versa. But the best thing about audio books for me is how superior they are to most

Yeah, I love those. They came alive for me through his narration. I want to listen to them again, but I've yet to get around to it. Podcasts have totally fucked up my audio book listening. I recently started listening to Dark Tower over again, but halfway through the fourth book I got distracted by politics and have

A little more love for the late Frank Muller. He could make great books better. A few other personal faves include him reading Tinker Tailor, The Sea Wolf, Polar Star, two other King books, The Regulators and Desperation. Also, check out some other audio book stars, such as Grover Gardner, Scott Brick, Alexander

Audio books are just great, and King's stuff really lends itself to the medium. Frank Muller, who has read Shawshank, The Talisman, Black House and the Dark Tower series will lock you in as a fan. He was the greatest audio book reader of all time. But others who have done great versions of King's books include William

Eros alone was said in the show to contain 100,000 people.
