The thing about Wizards & Glass is that you could miss seeing it and not have it impact your understanding of the rest of the story at all. Not so for the rest of the books.

The Waste Lands is a great book. It also ends on a pretty big cliffhanger, although more reminiscent of the end of Fellowship of the Ring rather than the end of Song of Susannah.
I loved the final book. I particularly like that Stephen King is a character. The scene where he first meets Roland is hilarious. And I found the ending to be perfectly apropos for a story that constantly references fate as a wheel.
It's my favorite book. I just finished listening to the Frank Muller recording again, which is sublime. And it certainly strikes me as the book that is least amenable to becoming a movie. No way you could tell that tale in two hours.
