It took the time to establish charismatic characters who had consistent reasons for their actions. And it was packed with great actors. This has only a couple great actors who get to do nothing but spout exposition in the flattest way possible.

The most tragic story in the DC reboot was Power Girl getting a preventive double mastectomy after a DNA test indicates she has the super boob cancer gene.

I like the part her character is depressed over the destruction of Asia and Europe, and so she just starts fucking everyone she kind find. It was a solid four hour diversion in the middle of the film.

So, like Matt Damon?

Nah.

He's like the Clint Howard to Chris' Ron.

I did once, but I think I got away with it.

Nah. They are after the fifth element.

All because no one listened to the alien in accounting who keeps pointing out the billions of uninhabited planets with molten cores.

It's an alien insurance scam!

But it's done with a quip and zero emotional impact on the cast, so you know not to feel bad about it.

Is there something below F we can give this piece of shit? It makes the terrible Jurassic World look like (fill in the blank with your greatest movie of all time).

Sharknado 4 has to be better than Independence Day 2.

Spinoff possibilities are endless:

Yeah, I was in my 20's. And I was probably pretentious, but I liked plenty of goofy ass movies. And I was of course an enormous fan of The Professional. I couldn't even begin to describe what turned me off, because it's hard to remember now that it's all be blotted out by the dozens of times I've caught it on cable.

Well… it's a bit more than that.

Fifth Element is a movie that I've turned around on more than almost any other. In theaters, I was young and found it stupid. Now I'm old and can get caught up in it every time it airs on cable.

I knew that already. These are all just on my list of stuff I've not had time to get to yet (as are a lot of other shows, like Arrested Development, Louie, and on and on). Didn't even get to Breaking Bad until it's final season was airing. Just watched both seasons of Saul about three months ago. I usually only

I do fear a sequel will use too much shaky cam.

I definitely understand it. And I'll never stop hoping these properties get their shit together, because the source material is some of the richest storytelling of the past fifty years. And I've noticed a slight uptick in chances taken the past two years, so fingers are crossed.
